Our March event is being kindly hosted by Adrian Kirkbride at AJ-Security in Maryport. Adrian will be showing us around his premises and telling us about his amazing business journey so far and his plans for the future.

We will be meeting at The Vicky in Cockermouth for our February meeting which will also be our AGM.

We will be having a talk from member Rachel Stevens of Rachel Stevens Holistic Therapy.

We will be catching up after the festive period at The Greenhill Hotel. We will be reflecting on everyone’s 2024 and our plans for the year ahead.

We have a huge variety of businesses with different skills and expertise so come armed with any questions or struggles you have had and we can all give some helpful advice and guidance.

We’ll be having sandwiches and chips (not turkey!).

One of our members, the lovely Gemma Hornsby-Lofthouse, will be hosting our November meeting at her beautiful new wellness clinic in Maryport. She’ll be giving us a grand tour and telling is all about the amazing treatments you can get there, from floatation therapy to red light therapy and much more. This one is not to be missed if you would like an exclusive, VIP tour of this one of a kind clinic.

We are having our annual business showcase this month. All attendees can bring marketing materials, goods for sale etc to promote your business.

We will be having speed networking, a Q&A with all members and a vision session with our chair, Anne Sowerby of Sassy Property Styling. There will also be time for general networking.

As always we will be having a raffle in aid of Cash 4 Kids.

Anyone booking as a non member will receive an annual membership with the price of their ticket.

We will be meeting at The Greenhill Hotel in Wigton for sandwiches and chips and an evening of informal networking to ease us all back in gently after the school holidays!

One of our guest speakers this month will be one of our members, Gemma Hornsby-Lofthouse. She will be telling us all about her brand new wellness clinic which has recently opened in Maryport.

In place of our regular meeting, we are having a summer social in Keswick. We will meet at Keswick Spa at 4pm for a walk along the railway line and then go for some chips in Keswick.

Everyone is welcome and there is no cost to join us for this but please book so we know how many people to wait for.

Our May meeting will be held at Redefine Medical in Workington, the beautiful salon owned by one of our members.

We’ll be having refreshments and a guset speaker (TBC).

As always, there will be lots of opportunity for relaxed networking and our monthly raffle in aid of Cash 4 Kids.

Due to the huge popularity of our February meeting, we have decided to meet again in March to keep up with all of our new members and give everyone else the opportunity to come along and see what we are all about.

This month, out committee members will giving advice, hints and tips from their own wealth of experience in business - there will be everything from interior design, wills, finance and more.
